Fees

We believe cost should never prevent someone from getting help with their Social Security Disability claim. Our fee structure is simple, transparent, and governed by Social Security Administration rules.

No Upfront Fees

You do not pay anything to hire us.

There are:

  • No retainers

  • No hourly fees

  • No upfront costs

We only receive a fee if your claim is approved.

How Our Fees Work

Our fees are paid on a contingency basis, which means our payment depends entirely on a successful outcome.

If your claim is approved:

  • Our fee is 25% of your past-due benefits,

  • Up to the maximum amount allowed by Social Security.

The Social Security Administration sets this cap and approves all representative fees.

If your claim is not approved, you owe us nothing for our services.

What Are Past-Due Benefits?

Past-due benefits (also called “back pay”) are the benefits Social Security owes you for the time between when you became eligible and when your claim is approved.

Our fee is taken only from past-due benefits, not from:

  • Your future monthly payments

You keep the remainder of your back pay and all future benefits.

How Payment Is Made

In most cases:

  • Social Security withholds the approved fee from your past-due benefits

  • The fee is paid directly to us

  • You do not need to write a check or make payments

This process is handled by Social Security, not by you.

Out-of-Pocket Costs

In some cases, there may be small out-of-pocket expenses, such as:

  • Fees for obtaining medical records

  • Copying or mailing costs

Any potential expenses will be discussed with you in advance. We do not surprise clients with unexpected charges.

Clear Communication, No Surprises

Before we begin working together:

  • You will receive a written fee agreement

  • We will explain exactly how fees work

  • You will have the opportunity to ask questions

We believe you deserve clarity, honesty, and peace of mind when making decisions about your claim.

Fee Example

Here’s a simple example to show how fees work in practice:

  • Social Security approves your disability claim

  • You are awarded $12,000 in past-due (back) benefits

  • The approved representative fee is 25%

25% of $12,000 = $3,000

In this example:

  • $3,000 is paid directly to us by Social Security

  • $9,000 is paid directly to you

  • You continue to receive your full monthly benefit going forward

You do not pay anything out of pocket, and you do not owe fees if your claim is not approved.
